From the High Commissioner of Pakistan in London

5 December 2003I assumed the post of the High Commissioner of Pakistan in London exactly two months ago. Since then, I have been thinking of ways and means to enhance interaction between the High Commission and overseas Pakistanis in the UK, especially students and young professionals, to promote Pakistan’‘s interests and improve its image.
Accordingly, we are now establishing an e-network, creating a link between the High Commission and young professionals and students. This network would provide us a forum to exchange ideas and work together to achieve, what I believe are, our common objectives.
This forum is an interactive venture and it can only progress with your consistent participation. We are open to suggestions and want to hear your views on holding face-to-face meetings where we can discuss matters of collective interest and brainstorm on how to best project Pakistan to the international community.
